Chapter 5: Your Website

How I got a fantastic dynamic website that comes up to the  top of the page when someone searches for me.

www.yournamehere.com

It’s all about the words used and how effective they are in attracting Google.   If you or your web designer doesn’t know how to get the best words that attract Google it pays to hire someone who does or research how to do  it on line.

How I got an email list of thousands.

I advertised my services on Craigs list. www.craigslist.com  I advertised my furniture and home decor that was leftover from my staging jobs on Craigs list.  Whenever I got a legitimate email from someone I saved their email.  I send emails to my list of subscribers letting them know when a model house has closed or a staged house has sold and that the furniture and decor is available for sale.

I subscribe to “I Contact”, an email service which allows you to send emails to thousands at one time and also enables me to create attractive emails with photos and a professional look. www.icontact.com  If people don’t want to be emailed they can easily unsubscribe.

How I got thousands of views on my website a day!

My clients know that I always update my website with photos of all of the latest items I use in Home Staging.  So they check it regularly.  When I email my list of subscribers with news of a big acquisition of items then my website gets hit 4,000 times in a day.

Another way to bring in customers and gather emails is through the use of Social Media

Establish accounts for your business on Facebook, Twittter, LinkedIn and You  Tube.  This will enable a wider range of people to learn about your business.  You may have friends from high school who are connected to you by facebook or LinkedIn and who may be Realtors or home sellers seeking a good Home Stager. Another great idea is to start your own Blog.  Everytime you add a blog article you draw attention to your website.

www.facebook.com,

www.twitter.com,

www.linkedin.com,

www.youtube.com

Very soon we plan to have Pre Made websites for you to customize at a very low price.

We will let you know as soon as they are available.
